That Comeback Season

It’s gut-check time . . . a race against the clock. Betrayed by his wife with another man and threatened by a younger coach in the year he’s supposed to die, Gabriel Messenger must make good on his second chance at love, life, and coaching, while the amazing widow he meets online seeks a romantic and wants to be in love by Christmas. Considered “smooth” and “spectacular” by two judges at the Georgia Romance Writers competition, Book One begins Gabriel’s battle to beat his fear of failing as a coach and as a man, and, at the same time, defeat his disease in it’s deadliest year. He has six months.

Go Trogans!

GO TROGANS! is about how the right mix of desert rats, military brats, and one girl with an awesome right foot combined with the right system and the right coaches to create the most incredible football season in southern California in 2017.

Silver Valley High School, with 360 students and from tiny Yermo, CA, fought their way through schools six-times its asize to reach the small-school championship game, where it faced another giant with 2,000 students. A remarkable journey that follows in the tradition of inspiring sports stories like Hoosiers, Remember the Titans, and When the Game Stood Tall, GO TROGANS! is about defying skeptics and their predictions, overcoming overwhelming odds, and how peanut butter, family, and hard work can conjure up magic—which in life and football is often better than luck.

Football for Moms

Finally, a book that makes sense of this complicated game for moms (and really, for everybody). This is a must for anyone who has a family member playing football. The games are far more enjoyable when you understand them.
